Wooden Flooring Is Not Terribly Expensive
Wooden floors can certainly be pricey, just like any product of quality. They're generally not the most expensive floors, though. One thing that can affect the prices of wooden floors, as well as anything else wooden or, really, anything else that comes directly from a natural source, is your area. There are many aesthetic considerations, too, that really aren't much of an issue with other flooring types, such as how much scarring adds character, and how much is just too much. Be sure that you're comparing similar quality products if it seems that wooden floors are strangely expensive. It's very easy to accidentally compare to a lower quality floor if you don't do your research.
